Pakistani’s and Amazon
Good news for Pakistani sellers. Finally, Pakistani enterprising individuals and companies will be able to promote and sell their products to the world through global e-commerce giant Amazon as Pakistan is going to be registered in Amazon verified seller list.
Accounts can be made using Pakistani details. Previously Amazon did not allow Pakistani sellers to register directly from Pakistan in its platform, and any merchandiser selling Pakistani products had to do so through shadow accounts registered in other countries.
This news was confirmed by Sunny Ali, a top life, wealth and Business coach of Pakistan. He said in his Facebook post, ” In less than 24-48 hours, Pakistan will hopefully show up in the list of allowed countries for Amazon sellers. You should be able to create IDs using your Pakistani details now.”
Thumbs up to the struggles of the team behind this unbelievable success. Big thanks to all senior members of this commerce community for providing us with this amazing platform.
To name a few, Aisha Moriani (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce), Omer Gajial (Ex Amazon Category Development Head for Amazon North America division), and Shoaib Sarwar (deputy Consul General, Consulate General Pakistan, Los Angeles) along with the team members of NECC (National Ecommerce Council) and Badar Khushnood from Pakistan Software Houses Association.
They have been working all the time in acquiring Pakistan added to Amazon’s verified sellers list, and their hard work has proven successful. This achievement will incredibly be a game changer. A new era of progressive Pakistan is started now. This big change will bring new directions of business for the nation.
As Pakistan has been added to the Amazons verified seller list, this will result in great export potential in Pakistan because the merchandisers from Pakistan can directly register with their local details and sell local Pakistani goods on Amazon.
