A very famous Turkish series named Ramo was released in the first month of 2020. The first episode of Ramo met the audience on 14th January on Tuesday. The series received much attraction even from the first episode because of many reasons. Before going towards the story of the series, you should know about the cast and crew.

Yes, the leading role of the series has been played by Murat Yildirim who is portraying Ramo. The other leading role is of Sibel who is the daughter of Cengiz, has been played by the most loved Turkish actress from Dirilis Ertugrul Esra Bilgic. Other characters of the Ramo series are Macit Koper, Idil Firat, Cemre Baysel, Sacide Tasaner, İlker Aksum, Gorkem Sevindik, Yigit Ozsener, and İlhan Sen.

The writer of the Ramo Series is Yilmaz Sahin while it has been directed by Yagiz Alp Akaydin. Ramo series has been produced by BKM Production. It is on-aired on the Turkish channel Show TV.

While Yılmaz Şahin is writing the screenplay, Yağız Alp Akaydın is sitting in the director’s chair. On the other hand, BKM Production prepared this ambitious series for Show TV. The series is being filmed in Adana while depicting the life of Ramo who rebelled against his master. This confusion of hers lies within her soul in between love or hate.

Pakistan Returned 1 Billion Dollars to Saudi Arabia | Real Story exposed

Pakistan returned $1 billion out of a $3 billion loan to the Saudi kingdom, four months in advance to when its actual repayment was due. This loan was extended as a provision worth of oil, a year and a half ago. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told that the decision for repaying in advance was taken keeping in mind that the Saudi kingdom was facing economic issues as oil-prices have significantly dropped. SBP and the Ministry of Finance confirmed that China extended an equal amount in loan to Pakistan to make up for any adverse impact there might occur as a result of the partial withdrawal of the Saudi lifeline. FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman as he prematurely returned $1 billion for the help it extended when Pakistan was facing a financial crunch. Knowing now that the same pressure befalls Saudi Arabia, he also said that Pakistan stands by it in this hour of need.

Imran Khan-led government started off with a prompt to fill a $12 billion hole left by the preceding government.  In October 2018, a financial package worth $6.2 billion was agreed on by Saudi Arabia as a loan for three fiscal years to Pakistan. Where an annual gas and oil supply worth of $3.2 billion was included and the rest of the $3 billion was provided as cash assistance. But later, Saudi reduced the whole amount to $2 billion and sources also report that Pakistan has not been receiving oil as otherwise due through the loan agreement since May. This underscored testing relations between the two brotherly states.

Pakistan is facing an additional challenging situation as the IMF program also remains temporarily suspended for the past five months. IMF also stated, “Bilateral creditors have maintained their exposure in line with debt sustainability objectives of the IMF program.” Sources suggest that Pakistan may also return $2 billion in cash assistance if China extends a similar loan facility. Javed Chaudhry, anchorperson (Express-News) highlighted Saudi Arab’s decision of withdrawing financial assistance at a time when Pakistan was seemingly changing its political map as a sign of lack of willingness to cooperate as a brotherly Islamic country.

As communicated by Sajid Qazi, spokesperson of the Petroleum Division, Pakistan could have utilized $770 million worth of oil and gas loan cash but the low demand nowadays has impacted the facility. This oil-credit was a part of a $14.5 billion package agreed on by three countries: Pakistan, UAE, and China. Although various sources believe the reduction in the loan amount and the premature repayment might mark external lobbying, but contrary sources persist on debt repayment being a sustainable step towards debt policies.

UAE-Israel Relations – Polarization In Islamic World

President of United State of America (USA), on last Thursday, tweeted about the peace deal between the Zionist state and Gulf sheikhdom on arbitration of USA. Indeed, it was big and wondering news that UAE has conceded Israel as a state and will establish the embassy following the normalization of diplomatic relations after signing the agreement. This Israel-UAE peace agreement or ABRAHAM accord, which was announced on the 13th of August is expected to sign in early September in White House.
In the joint statement issued by the USA President Donald Trump, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed that this peace agreement will bring peace in the Middle East and will help to deal with threats facing the Two-state solution. This agreement will also help to bring peace for Palestinians and enable to resolve the issue that has been going on for more than seven decades. Israel will stop the illegal annexation of West bank with Tel Aviv and abandon the ongoing projects. While Muslims of all over the world can travel to Jerusalem to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Now, new debates have begun about the polarization of the Islamic world in two blocks. No doubt, few Muslim countries including Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, and Jorden have appreciated this peace agreement. But few other Muslims countries have criticized including Palestine, Iran, as well as Turkey, said that UAE has hypocritical behavior and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later stated that Turkey was considering about cutting diplomatic relation with UAE as well as recalling its ambassador from Abu Dhabi irrespective Turkey has long-lasting diplomatic relation with Israel and is the biggest supplier of energy to Israel with huge annually trade.
Arab countries especially Saudi Arabia and UAE are ally and have very close and pleasant diplomatic relations with America for many decades. America has greater influence over these Arab countries and has many military bases in these and other Arab countries too including Qatar.

While Turkey is leaving American block irrespective it is a member state of NATO alliance. Turkey has not good diplomatic relations with the United States in the recent past years as a number of events happened that went against the interests of Turkey. While America has imposed very strict economic restrictions on Iran over the recent past years. Both countries have tense relations and keep threatening each other’s sovereignty. As a result, this region is facing serious and tense situations.
Iran and Turkey have also not good relations with Arab countries especially Saudi Arabia and UAE for many reasons. Tensions were observed between Saudi Arabia and Turkey over a few years ago when Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi was killed in the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul. Turkey blamed Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman for this murder. While Tehran and Riyaz also blamed and challenges the sovereignty of each other.

Thus, two blocks in Muslim countries are arising one of Arabs and other Non-Arab leading by Turkey. Arab countries have good relations with countries in American block while Turkey, Iran, Malaysia and some other Non-Arab countries have very pleasant relations with China and Russia. The world is already polarized between American block and newly forming China & Russian block according to their national interests. And these two new arsing Arab and Non-Arab blocks are making alliances with the different powers of the world. Thus, creating big challenges for each others and the 1.6 Billion Muslims living in all over the world. Although, it will not be a good for the Islamic world to divide into two blocks as they are facing serious internal and external challenges in the world.

So, this new decision made by UAE will trigger the situation among the Islamic world as Palestine Authority itself and Turkey with Iran have issued serious statements that may lead to upset the diplomatic relations among them. UAE has considered its own national interests and decided to start diplomatic relations with Israel following the establishing of embassies in each other’s countries and ignoring the Palestine cause. Although, Palestinians are also not happy on this agreement because they consider the terms agreed by both states to stop annexing the West Bank to Tel Aviv as “Lollipop” as the world knows that how much Israel acts upon on agreements. As Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu said there was “no change” to his plans to annex parts of the West Bank if it was approved by the US, but added they were on temporary hold.
Islamic world needs unity instead of polarization. Because, many countries such as Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Burma, Kashmir cause need collective attention instead of being divided. Some other Muslim countries are facing serious internal and external challenges that need to address collectively. But, just keep considering their own interests and divided on the basis of mutual interests may have fatal consequences in the near future. So, its need of the hour to see the matters mutually instead of individually.

South Koreans celebrate as ‘Parasite’ snags win historically at Oscars

“Parasite” director Bong Joon-ho said it was an honor to receive Best Original Screenplay, the first Oscar for South Korea’s big film industry.

But as the evening progressed, the film also came out on top of increasingly prestigious categories, including the International Feature Film award, Best Director Bong, and the top prize, Best Picture.

“I’m ready to drink tonight,” Bong joked, after thanking the cast and staff during his acceptance speech for the International Feature Film award.

Executive producer Kwak Sin-ae said she was “out of place” after the film won Best Picture.

Hashtags Parasite and Director Bong Joon-ho were the most trending on South Korea’s Twitter, while the film’s name was the most searched on the local Naver web portal after winning.

“Parasite”, a satirical look at the huge gap between the rich and poor in South Korea, snagged nominations for best picture, best director, and best production design, in addition to its best script and best international feature nominations.

“Just as BTS gained popular appeal by casting the problems that the youth go through everywhere in the world, ‘Parasite’ gained global understanding by showing the issue of the gap between the rich and the poor, “says pop culture critic Kim Hern-sik, referring to the K-pop group that has gained widespread success in the United States and around the world.

While South Korea’s film industry is one of the largest in the world, the Korean-language “Parasite” made unprecedented waves in international markets.

After the nominations were announced in January, Bong said he saw it as a sign that language is no longer a barrier to global success.

One clip making the rounds on South Korean social media ridiculed a reporter who asked Bong why he shot the film in Korean.

“She should have asked Scorsese or Tarantino why they shot their own films in English,” said one commenter, referring to other directors who had been nominated.

Another popular clip-on South Korean social media was a slow-motion picture of the cast enjoying the night on the red carpet, cheering the stars and wishing them the best of luck.

Harry Harris, US Ambassador to South Korea tweeted, “we are hosting a viewing party at the embassy eating Jalpaiguri”, referring to the noodle dish enjoyed by the rich family in the film.

Weinstein’s lawyer says accusers have a choice in sexual encounters

During a five-hour closing debate, lawyer Donna Rotunno argued that Weinstein’s accusers had chosen to engage in consensual relationships and often negotiate with him to develop their own careers.

Rotunno said prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office woven a “sinister story” during Weinstein’s rape case, depicting him as a monster and his accusers as innocent, passive victims. But, he contended, the prosecution did not have the evidence to prove it.

“In their story, they have created a universe that pulls adult women out of common sense, autonomy and responsibility,” she said. “In their universe women are not responsible for the parties they attend, the men they flirt with, the choices they make to further their own careers, the hotel room invitations, the plane tickets they receive, the jobs they ask for help getting. ”

Weinstein, 67, a former powerhouse producer in Hollywood, has pleaded not guilty to five felony charges, including rape, criminal sexual assault and predatory sexual assault. Prosecutors will serve closing remarks on Friday. The jury of seven men and five women will begin deliberations on Tuesday.

For a month, Weinstein listened as six women took the stand and testified that he had sexually assaulted them. He refused to testify himself.

He faces charges based on the allegations of only two of his accusers: Jessica Mann, a former actress who witnessed her rape in a Manhattan town center hotel in 2013, and Miriam Haley, a former production assistant on her show “Project Runway , ”Who said he forced oral sex on her in his Tribeca apartment in 2006.

The two women in cross-examination acknowledged that they not only had friendly communications with Weinstein after their alleged attacks, but later had consensual sex with him.

The presiding judge, Justice James M. Burke, allowed four other women to testify about their own encounters so prosecutors can establish a pattern of conduct, even though their allegations are too old to be charged as crimes under New York state law. Actress Annabella Sciorra, for example, stood under the legal theory that her evidence would support allegations of predatory sexual assault, which carries a life sentence.
