The Lord started talking to Suleiman and told him everything would be alright. While Flora was talking to her father, Leon secretly caught Alparslan. While Aybars was waiting to open the gate of the city, he realized that Alparslan had been caught. Suleiman was shocked to see that his brother was still alive and wanted to kill him. Lord said that Alparslan should die, but Leon stopped everyone.
Leon chained Alparlan to the wall and started attacking the Turks in the city. Hassan saw the city gate open and entered with his soldiers. Leon thought the Turks were trapped and attacked them. Hassan released Alparslan shortly after. Suleiman said that Alparslan would win the war. The Lord went to the courtyard and tried to stop Alparslan, but failed. Leon and the Lord soon escaped from Vaspurakan. Alparslan recaptured the city and captured Suleiman thanks to Flora.
The vizier said that he would execute Kutalmis in the palace and set out with him. A soldier helped Kutalmis to escape. Kutalmis hid in a cave. The vizier blew up the entrance to the cave and thought that Kutalmis was dead. The vizier read Leon’s message and realized that Suleiman would soon arrive at the palace. Alparslan talked to Kutalmis’s soldiers and managed to convince most of them. Alparslan prepared to attack the palace with his new army. Kutalmis found a hole through the rocks in the cave and managed to get out.
Leon entered Vaspurakan using a secret tunnel and freed Suleiman from the dungeon. Seferiye realized what was happening in the dungeon and tried to stop the Byzantine soldiers. When Alparslan saw that Kutalmis was alive, he decided to return to the city. Suleiman came to the palace with difficulty and stopped Kutalmis using the explosives placed by the Vizier. The Lord attacked and killed Seferiye in the forest.
